Hooray for Four!

We had a dinosaur themed birthday party for Jonas this weekend and he loved every minute of it.  When it came time to blow out the candles he stood there and said "well, isn't everyone going to sing to me?"

Just Add Water

Grammie was in town to visit the boys and help celebrate Jonas' birthday on Friday.  She helped outfit the patio with a basketball hoop and water table so the boys can take advantage of our tiny patio.  Everyone had a ball and somehow Grammie managed to stay dry.

No no.  We didn't actually get on our bikes.  But rooted on our friends Christine and Stan who rode 35 miles to include the stretch by our house.  Jonas offered them sippy cups of ice water and fresh coats of sunscreen (Christine is a dermatologist).

A New Toy for the Grown-Ups

Michael has a camera on loan as part of his research grant (a Cannon D90 with a great 50mm lens).  We have been playing around a bit.  Both boys are now officially tired of posing for shots so I turned to one of my favorite flowers.

No More Super Cuts

Caleb's terrible haircut from our local Super Cuts is finally growing out.  For some reason (bargain prices, momentary insanity) I returned there after a different lady gave Jonas a truly awful cut.  The only upside is that we've been able to see more of Caleb's sweet neck.

Hit the Ground Running

Caleb wakes up in the morning and after just about every nap ready to go.  This is how he greeted me after this morning's nap:

Caleb loves to climb.  Chairs, tables, legs, anything vertical any time.
