Hats Off To Caleb

Now I know that I'm not just imaging that this winter has been a long one.  Caleb grew out of his hat that I knitted him in October and needed a new one.  I used the same pattern, but sized it up by about 30% and added a "C".  If Caleb ever keeps it on he'll appreciate that it has built in earflaps.

Grandpa Yosh Would Be So Proud

Grandpa Yosh is in construction and has always been a believer in finding creative solutions to potentially vexing problems.  He would be proud of Michael's solution to Jonas' snow boots being accidentally left at school.

To recreate yourself:
Use one Ikea bag and packing tape.  Cut on bias using a corner for each toe.  Secure with tape.

Quick Trip to Philly

Jonas and I travelled to Philadelphia for the weekend to visit family and friends.  Caleb kept dad company back in Pittsburgh and did his best to recover from a nagging cold.

Grammie couldn't wait to hug her Jonas.  And after a long day he crashed hard in "the big fat bed."
