Nanny and Poppy Arrive in Pittsburgh

Drum roll please... Poppy has made it to Pittsburgh!
It took his grandchildren and 2/3's of his great grandchildren moving here, but finally he made it out West. We still can't believe this was his first time in the Steel City.

We had a wonderful visit including meeting up with one of Nanny's good friends from Hadassah who gave them a very thorough tour of the city and of course we cleared the shelves of the Thomas the Train section of our local Target. If only we could find a copy of the New York Post I think Poppy would be content to move in.

Devon and Dan are Married!

Chrissy, Katherine, Devon, Me and Andrea

Caleb and I had the most amazing long weekend in Seattle for Devon and Dan's wedding. I wish I had a photo of the beautiful couple to share but take my word for it, Dan was as handsome as Devon was beautiful. The setting was this super cool lodge about an hour outside Seattle towards the pass. Honestly it was something out of a magazine with a brisk river bending right off the wrap-around porch and cedar as far as you could see.
It was a rare opportunity for some close high school friends and I to catch up. Of course Caleb was a hit and since he was on his best behavior we may have some more babies sooner than later. My niece Madison was the star of the dance floor with moves she practiced before hand.

Rolly Polly

We hope muscle tone will come one day. But for now it's all rolls and more rolls on these legs.

By the Sea by the Sea...

We spent a week down at the Jersey Shore with family and friends. Poppy and Andy introduced Caleb to the Phillies and made sure that Jonas consumed his quota of bagels with cream cheese.

A Lazy Morning in Bed

Katy Comes to Visit

Aunt Katy came into town to hang out with the boys and help their parents unpack. She LOVES Pittsburgh and not just because it seems there is a cupcake store on every corner.
